i get ulcers all the time, but last weekend my band played a show in which i got involved in a circle pit and ran into the bassist’s, well, bass. i got my mouth all cut up and didnt really tend to em. now, the cuts have become ulcers and its so painful to move my mouth in any direction… so im trying to find to handle this logically… any other suggestions? anyone?

Did exactly the same thing… I get these quite often, once or twice every 2-3 months.
Here’s how I get rid of them:
I gargle Listerine in the morning and evening after brushing the teeth (The mouthwash has to come in contact with the wound, it stings but you get used to it)
I try not to get too much food on the wound,
And I carefully avoid accidents like biting it etc…
…it usually goes away after 1-2 weeks.
Not sure if it works for everyone but you can try

sea salt, which will surpress the need to eat chocolat

i got 3 or 4 ulcers a month, i went to the doctor who sent me to a specialist at the dental hospital. She ran a patch test on me a found out that i was allergic to cinnamon and E numbers 210-219. Ive avoided all foods with these ingredients in them and have now found that i only get about 1 ulcer every few months, which is a large improvement.
