Is it possible to whiten teeth with dental work?

I have dental work on my front top tooth…I want to whiten my teeth but am afraid the dental work won’t whiten with it. Any advice or suggestions?

Teeth whitening can only whiten natural teeth. Veneers and crowns are made of porcelain, like plates, china cups etc. So only natural teeth will whiten. The best way to do it would be to whiten your teeth first, then have any dental work done.

  1. You’re right, Dental work won’t whiten. So be careful, do it slowly.

If you have a veneer , a porcelain crown, or a bonded filling, they will not lighten as will your natural teeth.
