2 year old grinding teeth…?
My (Almost) 2 year old grinds her teeth..when shes awake, not asleep.. its not an all-the-time-thing.. so im not totally worried, but i know that is not healthy for her little teeth… i don’t really know if its normal for kids to do and i don’t really know how to prevent it. At first I would ask her to stop but then she would do it even more because she knew it was a no-no! lol.. Any Advice? Or Similar Situations?
My daughter is similar. She’s 2.5 but I can usually sidetrack her. At this point with her "baby" teeth, I’m not worried. If she had her adult teeth, I’d have a bitesplint fabricated for her. I clench and grind my teeth and wear through nighttime bitesplints, so I can’t imagine not wearing it and what it would due to my teeth.
At this point, I’d try to redirect her to doing something else to get her mind off the grinding. Hopefully she’ll cut it out soon.

I have 2 niece and they both would grind their teeth. They eventually stopped when they got older.
