Will fillings in between my teeth be visible?
I want to get the tooth colored fillings for the cavities in between my teeth, but am not sure if my healthy kids (gold) insurance would pay for that. So if I ended up with silver would they be visible? I’m not sure if there are any in my front teeth, as they didn’t tell me where they are, but I don’t think they are. I still don’t want them to be seen, though. So if you know whether or not the in between fillings will be visible or if healthy kids gold would pay for white filling, answers will be greatly greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
Nope. Iv had it done 3 times. If you do get colored ones, it will show up. But its PAINLESS! Hope I helped!!

Silver fillings will be visible. If they are not on the front teeth then they are not visible when you smile but when you open the mouth then they are very much visible. If they are on your molar teeth the silver ones will not show and if they do, most ppl do not notice. Our office does not even do silver fillings due to the belief my dentist has about the mercury content and its toxicity. We have never had an ins. co not pay for them.

I don’t have insurance, so I’m not really sure what’s covered and what’s not. =| Though, I know that my dentist doesn’t even do the older silver ones anymore unless there is a very large amount of tooth being replaced. My teeth are riddled with cavaties and you don’t even know it! =D ..ehem..
I would think the white filling would be covered, or at least partially…
