I dont have health insurance, so anything dental and vision ends up costing me a lot. (I don’t have Health Insurance because once you turn 22, and you are under your parents insurance, you are dropped. Sucks about being an adult =P)

But, too make an appointment it takes forever. Because theres loads of people wanting to get there teeth whitened

The procedure she …
The procedure she went through is a quick fix coz you see results straight away… but its actually bad for your teeth coz it dries your teeth & gums out (which is damaging & makes them really sensitive). It’s not gonna last forever if she doesn’t follow the rules (eg: avoid coffee, tea, carrots, other staining foods/drinks). I use a gel from the dentist and its safer & just as effective – except it takes a week or so to see the results – which also lasts for ages (following the rules)

I noticed there was a big Health Care debate going on the comments and I just wanted to clarify. Health Care in Canada is NOT free. We pay for our health care by paying higher taxes. All of the money we pay goes into a big “pot” and when you need to pay for something health care related, the money comes out of the “pot”. Certain things are not covered, but may be covered by health insurance through your employment.
