I guess I was wrong, clearly everyone uses mouthwash and has regular access to clean water, dental hygiene tools and medical care.

I’ll tell ya what works for me..and it’s Awesome..brush your teeth for 2 mins. than add hydrogen proxide while brushing..not only does it kills germs better than any mouth wash, but it also helps whiten your teeth as well. Enjoy.

i so wouldn’t use …
i so wouldn’t use those mouthwashes. if you google mouthwash + oral cancer or mouthwash + pesticide it might scare you off! anyway, if they worked, would so many people have gum disease?? it claims to fight gingivitis, the precursor to gum disease. if you google green tea and gum disease, it might shock you how beneficial it is claimed to be. also scope and listerine are pretty expensive! i’m concerned that gt will stain my teeth though but i’d rather have stained teeth than none at all!

you can get a sonic toothbrush from amazon. from what i’ve read salt water bursts bacteria cells because they absorb it through osmosis. also, when people get teeth pulled most dentists (including mine) say to rinse with salt water because it promotes healing. most people with gum disease cut their gums easily with dental floss etc and it helps in that way. don’t ask me how it promotes healing other than killing bacteria!

Well, if you were to get a Sonicare power toothbrush, you’ll still need to floss at least once a day because no matter how good your toothbrush is you still need to floss.
Another thing I learned is that you should reduce the frequency (not the quantity, just the frequency) of snacks you have throughout the day. As my instructor has told my class, it’s better to pig out on a whole bag of M&M’s at once, rather than small amounts throughout the day. I’d explain why, but I’m running out of room.
